With dedicated locations in Northeast Portland, South Chicago and New Orleans, Nike Factory Community Stores empower
neighborhoods to work together and aid the economic development of women and youth. Nike has invested over $2,000,000 in
cash and product in these communities for programs that are unlocking the potential of young people through the power of sports,
education and mentoring.

Celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2009, the Portland Community Store has been at its current location on
Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard since 1998. This Community Store has provided more than $2,000,000 in contributions
to local organizations and tens of thousands of hours of volunteer service to contribute to the revitalization of North
& Northeast Portland. As in past years, this store plans to provide $100,000 in grants in 2009.

The Carrollton Avenue store opened in 2008 to help revitalize New Orleans after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
By hiring local residents and focusing on becoming a leader in the community, the New Orleans Community Store is helping
the neighborhood thrive. As a proud and visible member of the neighborhood, the New Orleans Community Store has created a
$50,000 annual grant program to support organizations that create positive change and support community needs.

Opened in 2007, the South Chicago Community Store is a proud and visible member of the South Chicago community and
Chatham Neighborhood. The strong support of the local community has helped this store lead the nation in sales.
To demonstrate leadership, and our commitment to create positive change within the South Chicago community, this store plans to award grants totaling $50,000 in
2009 to nonprofit organizations that operate in the area.
