Our Mission
Team Work
Learning the game of hockey is sometimes harder for the parents than it is for the players. Our organization is not only committed to teaching our players how to play the game, but also provide the parents with an understanding for the game. Our players and parents learn how important the value of team work can be. Our players learn this on the ice by supporting their line mates and our parents learn this by helping support the players, coaches and our sponsors. We all play a part in the success of the kids. The foundation of Mountain States Youth Hockey is team work.
Learning The Game
Our goal is to teach the game of hockey to the players so that they able to learn, understand and play the game. Mountain States Youth Hockey provides the opportunity for players to learn a system that creates continuity from one season to the next, one coach to the next.
Our families have become accustomed to helping each other out when in need. It could range from picking a few players up from practice or helping build a float for the CSU homecoming parade. Youth hockey can be an expensive sport and Mountain States Youth Hockey is committed to providing an opportunity to as many players as we can. In order to do this, we have fundraisers, sponsorships and scholarship donors to help defray some of the costs associated with the sport. It's no accident why we are called the Mountain States Renegades, since we represent the region. We have players from the communities in Northern Colorado and Wyoming
Mountain States Youth Hockey provides low cost hockey to the community. Nike would support an organization committed to TEAMWORK, LEARNING THE GAME, and HAVING FUN. We provide an alternative solution that allows focused coaching and hockey on our individual kids. Purposely, we are not striving to the "the largest" nor "the biggest", but to be an organization aimed at the kids, built for the kids, and having fun for the kids!!
